The Professional Association of Turin Chefs was founded in the far 1722 under the name of “Pia Associazione dei Cuochi e Famigli d’ambo i sessi sotto l’alto Patronato di S. Pasquale Baylon” (Pious Association of female and male Cooks and Families under the high Patronage of S. Pasquale Baylon) as you can still read on the Association banner today.

ACT is a dynamic organization with a board of directors of 15 professionals and hundreds of members working in the many culinary fields: chefs, restaurant and catering owners, tourism and food production. All courses taught by the ACT are accredited by the Regional Government of Piedmont and recognized by the professional restaurant world in Italy and abroad.
