From Field To Table
Welcoming dinner at Collegio San Giuseppe
Visiting one of Europe’s oldest science academies, learning how wine and chocolate are made, studying marine biology and whale-watching, and seeing the Shroud of Turin highlight a two-week academic trip to Italy for 33 students and four teachers.
“Greetings from Turin…we have landed, all students and luggage made it safely and we are on the way to San Giuseppe” Science teacher Dennis Jung reported via text message on June 12 at 9:00am CDT (4:00pm Central European Summer Time). Students will begin their trip at Collegio San Giuseppe, a state-of-the-art facility run by the De La Salle Christian Brothers.
